Jodie Comer took light inspiration from her new film at “The Bikeriders” Los Angeles red carpet premiere on Monday. The “Killing Eve” Emmy Award winner fashioned an edgy look, complete with a chunky gold statement necklace and floor-length black dress.
For the occasion, Comer wore a sleeveless black maxidress courtesy of Gabriela Hearst. The dress featured a leather-front look with thin straps and a column-like skirt. The dress was an ideal choice for “The Bikeriders” premiere, paying homage to some of the strapping, leather-clad looks featured in the film.
Comer continued the black monochrome palette with a pair of heels courtesy of Maison Ernest. Aside from the all-black attire, Comer did add a bold pop of color with a metallic gold necklace by Alexis Bittar.
As for the rest of of her look, Comer opted for soft makeup to contrast her edgy attire. The actress’ makeup featured a soft lip and subtle smokey eye by makeup artist Kara Yoshimoto Bua. Comer’s hair was styled with soft waves by Adir Abergel. Her entire look was curated by stylist Elizabeth Saltzman, who’s also worked with “The Crown” star Elizabeth Debicki and actress Eiza González.
Comer was joined by her “Bikeriders” costars, including Austin Butler, with whom she posed for a few photos on the red carpet.
Butler, who rose to prominence following the 2022 film “Elvis,” also took sartorial inspiration from the film, wearing a monochrome black suit with a belt at his waistline. In August 2023, the actor was named a global ambassador of Yves Saint Laurent Beauty’s men’s scent, Myslf.
“The Bikeriders” tells the story of Benny (Butler) who joins a biker gang called the Vandals. After meeting and falling for Kathy (Comer), Benny must choose between her or the Vandals, who descend further and further into a violent underworld. The film hits theaters Friday.
