Nicola Coughlan Goes ’60s in Versace for ‘Bridgerton’ Photo Call

Nicola Coughlan took a hint from the ’60s at a photo call for “Bridgerton” Season Three in Milan on Thursday.

The actress, who was accompanied by her costar Luke Newton, attended the event wearing an all-white Versace ensemble. Coughlan paired a minidress from the Italian label’s spring 2024 collection with a silk jacquard bow-tie blouse featuring Versace’s trademark Barocco print. Her accessories included a metallic headband and a top handle purse.

Shift silhouettes were particularly popular in the 1960s, while mod accessories like headbands and rectangular handbags were also trendy.

Coughlan was assisted by stylist Aimée Croysdill, whose other clients include Marisa Abela, Ellie Bamber and Freya Allan.

The “Derry Girls” star wore her blond tresses in waves, while her makeup consisted of a brown smoky eye and a glossy pink lip.

Last month, Coughlan and Newton attended the Australian premiere of “Bridgerton” Season Three. The actress opted for a beaded off-the-shoulder dress, which was custom-made by British designer Richard Quinn.

“A special thank you to THE Richard Quinn,” Coughlan wrote on Instagram. “I contacted him because I have been obsessed with this dress since I first saw it on the runway and dreamed of wearing it. I asked him if he and his brilliant team made it for me and they they did and it’s better than I ever could’ve imagined!”

Season Three of “Bridgerton” sees Coughlan’s Penelope Featherington strike up a romance with Colin Bridgerton (Newton).

Season Three of “Bridgerton” premieres in two separate parts, with the first four episodes dropping May 16. The final four episodes will premiere on June 13.

“Bridgerton” has gone beyond the small screen and made its mark on the fashion industry — a Regency-core craze emerged thanks to the popular Netflix series, with brands like Malone Souliers, Pat McGrath Labs and Beekman 1802 launching “Bridgerton” collaborations.
